Apartment Trcek
02/2013 I design project I currently on hold
Typical Slovenian house consists of three floors. One is for the utilities, garage and house work. Second is the main floor, for parents and their children. The third floor is for the children when they grow up and start on their own. This is the case of this project, how to adopt the existing unused floor for a young family. Project divides the floor into living and sleeping part. Living part is oriented towards the south and the views. One open space forms living room, dining area and kitchen. Two rooms and a bathroom are oriented north, with a middle gallery that connects all the rooms. Space by the stairs is used as a small art studio.
